Many of us have experienced “sciatica" or “sciatic pain” at one point or another. But what does this term actually mean? Would you be surprised to know that in reality, it’s one of those blanket terms that we used to describe the experience of a symptom rather than what is actually going on?

Ultimately, it comes down to determining what the root cause or core problem is that is causing the aggravation of the sciatic nerve in the first place.
